WVU receives $2.5 million for coal syngas research.
Project duration is three years. DOE will provide $1.5 million and WV Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research will provide an additional $750,000. The fuel cell project will involve collaboration among WVU researchers in mechanical and aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, and physics, with researchers at the National Energy Technology Laboratory and regional industries.
